As a foodie and global trekker, the female Cuban Chef has traveled to a myriad of countries to taste test different cultural foods since she was a child. This has prompted the foodie-traveler to develop her own style and passion to cook as a private chef. She is not only self-taught, but highly creative with culinary gifts passed down from generations of her Caribbean bloodline. Chef Carmen’s culinary experience also stems from working with executive chefs at renowned restaurants and traveling to places like Thailand, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Hawaii, Greece and the Caribbean, including most of the U.S. mainland.
Currently living and working in Saint Thomas, Virgin Islands, this island-style global cuisine chef stays very busy hosting and providing a restaurant experience in the privacy of luxury rental villas, home owners and charter boats for guests visiting the U.S. Virgin Islands.
